All about Armenia, Belize
Armenia is a village in the Cayo District of Belize, along the nation's Hummingbird Highway 15km south of the capital, Belmopan.

The first settlers in the area were immigrants from Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, trying to escape civil war. both Mopan and K’ekchi Maya people also moved to the area from southern Belize in order to have better access to health care, transportation, and a market in which to sell their crops.

Loforna, is the home IHF has invested so much into, in order to create a loving, safe place for youth to learn and grow, and a jumping-off place for missions and outreach. It is surrounded by beautiful jungle and is just a short distance from the village.
